Female riders are leading international eventing across every major performance metric in the first half of the 2026 season, according to new statistics released by EquiRatings. In a social media analysis covering all international competitions up to 30 June 2026, EquiRatings highlighted that women currently top every key performance category in the sport, underlining what has already been an exceptional first six months of international eventing. The data, published by EquiRatings, showcases not only the depth of female talent at the top of the sport but also the consistency with which leading riders are delivering across dressage, cross-country and showjumping.

Among the standout performers is Tamie Smith, who leads the sport with eight international victories so far this season. Smith also recorded the best dressage score of the year, producing a remarkable 19.5 penalty test.
Cross-country specialist Lara de Liedekerke-Meier heads the statistics for cross-country jumping clears (26) and shares top spot for inside-the-time rounds (14), further cementing her reputation as one of the sport's most consistent performers.
Meanwhile, Julia Krajewski leads all riders for showjumping clears (18) and finish-on-dressage performances (9). She also shares the lead with De Liedekerke-Meier for inside-the-time rounds, each recording 14.

The figures reflect a broader trend across the 2026 international season, with female athletes not simply competing at the highest level, but setting the benchmark in every major statistical category measured by EquiRatings. For a sport long recognised for offering men and women the opportunity to compete directly against one another, the latest data provides another reminder of the strength, depth and impact of female riders on the world stage.
