Irish Equestrian Teams Nominated for Her Sport Award Team of the Year
Irish equestrian sport has been recognised with a Team of the Year nomination at the Her Sport Awards, presented by Lidl, following a standout season at European Championship level.
The nomination reflects medal-winning performances by Ireland’s Senior Eventing Team and Junior Show Jumping Team during the 2025 European Championships, highlighting both proven championship strength and the next generation coming through the ranks.

Junior Show Jumping Team — European Champions
Ireland’s Junior Show Jumping Team delivered one of the standout performances of the championships, winning team gold at the FEI Jumping European Championships for Juniors.
The gold-medal-winning team comprised Alice Wachman, Tabitha Kyle, Paddy Reape, Jack Kent, and Emily Moloney.

Senior Eventing Team — European Silver Medallists
Ireland’s Senior Eventing Team secured team silver at the 2025 European Championships, combining championship experience with emerging senior talent.
The team was made up of Padraig McCarthy, Robbie Kearns, Ian Cassells, and Aoife Clark.
Ireland was also represented by individual rider Sarah Ennis, who finished 15th overall.
