In the world of eventing, Ros Canter has etched her name in the history book, by becoming the seventh rider, and the first female, to achieve the remarkable feat of winning three or more CCI4*-L/CCI5*-L events in a single season.

Ros finished top of the leaderboard at Badminton Horse Trials 8 May, 2023. Undaunted by the terrible weather, she led from the start of the competition on Michelle Saul’s 11-year-old Lordships Graffalo.
In August, the super duo then went on to be crowned European Individual Champions and also led Britain to team gold. After the Europeans, Ros spoke of her Badminton success being "a massive box ticked and I never thought it could get much better. I’ve got ‘Walter’ to thank for it.
Then in September, Ros delivered the best Blenheim 4*-L finishing score of the last 14 years, this time on board Izilot DHI. This proved to also be an international PB for Izilot DHI, making the 10-year-old second on the list of highest international career wins for his age.
