Women in Racing to Host Free Live Webinar on Speaking Up and Safeguarding in the Sport “Safe to Say: Turning Concerns into Conversations” takes place Wednesday 24 June 2026. Women in Racing (WiR) will host a free live webinar exploring how the racing community can create safer, more open environments where everyone feels able to raise concerns. Titled “Safe to Say: Turning Concerns into Conversations”, the session will be led by Annabel Timmins and takes place on Wednesday 24 June 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM.

The webinar will examine the barriers that can stop people from speaking up, the importance of listening to concerns, and the practical steps that help build safer environments for everyone in racing. It is framed around a simple principle: that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and heard.

Delivered as part of WiR’s ongoing work to support people across the industry, the session is designed to be relevant to anyone working in or around the sport, from yards and racing schools through to administrators and officials. The event forms part of a wider conversation about welfare and safeguarding within equestrian and racing communities.
