Women in Racing to Host Leadership Day at the National Stud, Newmarket
“Beyond the Title: Redefining Leadership in Horseracing” takes place Friday 17 July 2026
Women in Racing (WiR) will host a day-long event exploring leadership in the sport at the National Stud in Newmarket on Friday 17 July 2026, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Titled “Beyond the Title: Redefining Leadership in Horseracing”, the day brings together an inspiring panel of women from across the racing industry to discuss leadership, influence and supporting others to succeed.
The programme combines a leadership panel discussion with networking opportunities, a buffet lunch and a guided tour of the National Stud, offering attendees a chance to connect as well as to reflect on the themes of the day.
At its heart, the event is built on the idea that leadership is about far more than a job title. It is about influence, confidence, advocacy and creating opportunities for others. The day sets out to explore what leadership means in horseracing today, and to consider how the industry can encourage, support and champion more women to step forward and lead in their own way.
Places are limited and booking is now open. Tickets are priced at £35 for members and £45 for non-members.
